Blogger Success Bulletin: Issue #1
Hello, and welcome to the first edition of the Blogger Success Bulletin!
The Blogger Success Bulletin is going to be a regular monthly report where you can meet new bloggers who are succeeding!
How is “success” defined? Those who make the BSB are bloggers who follow the blogging tips shared on this website. Or they started their blog by using my blog setup guide.
Plus, the bloggers you will meet here are doing more than just “setting up” their blog.New bloggers who find success early are those who grow by taking action NOW. They learn on the fly.
When I say grow, I am talking about growing on the inside. Their blog readership might not be gigantic at this point because their outward success has not yet caught up with their internal development. These are bloggers who are learning and big time success is just a matter of time.
They’re successful because they’re doing something. They’re courageous enough to get started despite not knowing what they’re doing.
These are the types of bloggers you’re going to meet here on the Blogger Success Bulletin.
The BSB is a work in progress. It will likely evolve in ways I cannot see yet.
For now, you will find it on the blog here. Maybe also via email. Perhaps through video. We shall see.
With that, let’s get to what this bulletin is actually all about–successful bloggers.
Blogger Success Bulletin – Issue 1
Blogger: Elyse Resnick
Blog: Beholding U
Her Success: Elyse didn’t build her blog using my site, but she’s told me she wishes she had found Build Your Own Blog much sooner. Her website is pretty in design and full of well written blog articles catering to a primarily female audience. She’s a big fan of the Blog Post Ideas Generator, which helped her come up with this article: Lady Wanderlust Travels Solo
Blogger: Rich Pierce
His Success: Rich recently started his blog using my setup guide. For that, he earned the Blog Boss 2015 badge that he proudly displays on his site (Thank you, Rich!)
It looks like this:
Here’s another reason why Rich makes the first issue of BSB–he has one of the most compelling About Me descriptions I’ve seen on a website
Here’s how it reads: I KILLED a man, arrested for growing CANNABIS on an industrial scale, faced 8 years JAIL and lost the best girl in my life. Read my story. I’m 45 and it’s never too late to turn your life around.
Wow. Will be interesting to see where this blog goes next. Keep it up, Rich!
Blogger: Elsa Fridl
Blog: Elsa’s Travel Blog on Paris
Her Success: Elsa has an elegant blog/website for anyone interested in traveling to Paris or learning about French culture…maybe I’ll be able to use my college French after all?
Seriously, I was humbled when Elsa included me in a list of Thank You’s on her site. She wrote: Matthew Loomis, creator of Buildyourownblog.net, whose informative website put me on the road to creating a blog at all. Beyond that, he is patient, kind, and an excellent writer. Matt, you deserve all the rewards you get in life, because you stand behind your promise of support with action.
Merci beaucoup, Elsa. Je vous souhaite beaucoup de success!
Blogger: Miran Kocmur
Blog: Football Revealed
His Success: Miran has put together a solid soccer blog. (Everyone else in the world besides the U.S. calls this game “football.”) If you’re a fan of football, check out the new kid on the football blog niche block! Thanks for proudly wearing the Blog Boss badge! Well deserved.
Blogger: Ms. Sadie
Blog: Echo Class 101 – Echocardiography Simplified
Her Success: She’s been in the cardiovascular field for over a decade and wanted to share her expertise as a cardio sonographer. She is now becoming an authority in her field after creating her blog using the Build Your Own Blog setup guide. I sent her a badge, which is well deserved because I’ve read all the grateful comments from her readers.
This blog has heart. (Sorry, I couldn’t resist.)
Way to go, Ms.Sadie! Keep on pumping out those helpful posts!
Blogger: Dr. Rin Porter
Blog: Things Could Be Worse
Her Success: Many of you have become acquainted with Dr. Rin through this site. She’s been in the “retirement blog niche” for about a year now and continues to grow.
Recently, she gave the Blog Post Ideas Generator a whirl and came up with this article thanks to the tool: How I Stopped Needing to Accomplish Something Every Day
Who Will Be in the Next List of Blogger Success Stories?
As this inaugural edition of the Blogger Success Bulletin wraps up, I want to ask you a question: Should your blog be featured in the BSB? If you think so, go ahead and tell me why in the comments.
Congratulations to these 6 bloggers!
