Perfect blog postYou want to blog because you have something to say, right?

Yet along with that desire comes a need to write.

If you have never done this before, you probably feel unsure about your writing abilities.

Perhaps you’re already practicing my “write like you talk” advice. It helps, yet you’re still feeling discouraged because…

•Hardly anyone reads your blog

•Thus, you have two subscribers (mom and dad.)

•Your social share buttons look pathetic (1 tweet! Thanks, dad!)

You have never considered yourself a writer. So the next thing you do is hire an English major to give you some writing lessons…

…Weeks later, your blog still doesn’t seem to be gaining any traction. (Although your grandparents now follow you. They are good at forwarding your posts to their 14 email contacts.)

Then one day your English Major tutor quits in frustration–he has no clue why his writing techniques don’t work on the internet.

Feeling like a failure at this point, you wonder if blogging can work for you…

Don’t Give Up! Here’s Some Tips to Writing the Perfect Blog Post

“The ebook was so clear and helpful and funny, loved it. Wait til you see what I develop!!” – Amy B.

“Hi Matthew- I don’t always send thank you messages for the tons of ‘guidebooks’ that make their way into my inbox- but yours deserves a special Thank You! I’m only half way through it, reading as I write a post of my own (you know..using it as my worthwhile sidetrack – and don’t worry, the post is about Berlin and won’t involve any copying of your content- just inspiration from your ideas!)
Your graphics and tone make me laugh and I find it very easy to read. Thanks for the info and the motivation!
Take care!”

What a thorough guide, Matt! You should be proud. The graphics and visual elements are very attractive and make the content easier to digest.

This is an exceptional freebie and frankly I am surprised that you’re not charging for it.

    Good luck!

    Hey Matthew,

Wow, what a thorough giveaway my friend. I’m sure that anyone who is having issues with writing posts will benefit from this one.

I have to agree with Brent on this one though, I’m surprised you’re just giving it away but I also know that when you do people will be much more attracted to what you share so way to go.

I’ll be sure to spread the word about this one as well, I know it can benefit a LOT of people.

Here is wishing you the best with this one and may you get tons of downloads.

      Hi Adrienne,

Thanks for the feedback! I wanted to offer more than what a typical freebie gives…I know I would have appreciated this info back when I first started blogging.

Something is now in the works that won’t be free, but helpful also.

Thanks for sharing this with others.

      Best,

      Matthew
